Banini’s Eponymous Debut
Album: Bandini, 2020
Bandini’s first album represents an amalgamation of varied geographical and psychic influences. Born from the loss of Elijah Fuchs during Naughty Monkey’s infamous final performance at Pueblo’s Slaughterhouse Club, the album blends elements of Denver, Manchester, Black Sparrow Press and Survival Research Laboratories into a seething mass of glowing lo-fi psych rock. Bandini has revived and refined the DIY era of mid-nineties rock and roll with this, their first true album. Best listened to at high volume, high speed, and high altitude.

Sable
Album: Sable, 2017
“Sable” marks the jagged point of departure from where Naughty Monkey launched itself into the canon of Colorado rock’n roll. A blistering 4-track ode to high strangeness and deep consciousness, the track list maps the band’s first steps towards implosion and alchemical rebirth as Bandini two years later. Noisy, heavy, and hypnotic, “Sable” is equal parts White Light/White Heat and God Don’t Make No Junk. A circus burning, a parade of homunculi, and a litany of feedback and fuzz, Naughty Monkey’s debut album goes straight for the pituitary with a switchblade and a match.
